Finding a Place to Hang your Hammock

Many people don't feel like they have time to visit their nearest national park over the weekend, or even for a day. In the modern world, we seem to be more busy with life than we have ever  been. Has anyone felt like it takes some time convincing yourself to get outside? Not because you don't want to but because you'd rather take a nap with your spare time? As a mom, this is totally me.

I like that you don't need to be surrounded in a forest of trees to hang your hammock and relax. My two younger brothers got creative one day and hung their hammocks from the trampoline in the backyard. I've even seen them hung under the porch. But the trampoline is probably one of the more creative places I've seen yet.

In Rexburg, ID where the number of college students is rapidly growing, hammocks are strung from tree to tree at local parks. The park is one of the favorite places for students to gather when school is out. Can’t you imagine the sun setting and a cool breeze running through your hair?. If you've ever been a college student, you'll quickly remember that there isn't a whole lot of time to do anything but homework and go to class. However, a nice break is always needed after a long week of tests.

The popularity for hammocks is growing and here are a few of my favorite reasons why everyone should have a hammock while you are in school

  • Lightweight
  • Convenient
  • Fun
  • Comfortable
  • Easy to set up
  • Great way to cuddle
