Our NEW Tribal Hammocks we're Inspired by a word from the Mapuche tribal dialect: "Maipú." Maipú means LUGAR DEL ARADO, or Place of the Plow. To honor those traditions that held the Native Mapuche people together and to tie in an appropriate relationship to our tree planting efforts, we thought the name was perfect and the patterns were cooler and what a better way to unify us all! The Mapuche Tribe are an indigenous people in South America and yes..., it's pronounced "My-Poo." We hope you love our new Maipú hammocks. As always 2 trees are planted per purchase.
