Valuation of Hammock
Madera reserves the right to value your hammock between $1 and $15. An extra $5 credit will be awarded if you chose to be paid in in-store credit. Madera will set up your hammock and it will be tested to a Madera standard; which includes, but is not limited to the following tests: Weight test up to 400 lbs, quality test and determination of thread count and fabrics used to construct the hammock, Carabiners, Included accessories, Overall ware and tear, etc. Hammocks will be valued based on but not limited to the aforementioned criteria.
Dissatisfaction of Valuation - If you are dissatisfied with the quote at which Madera valued your hammock you can request that the item be sent back to you at your expense.
Receipt of label
Madera email's all labels. We cannot mail you a label unless you pay for one to be sent to you. You are responsible for adequate packaging. If your goods arrive to the madera warehouse damaged because poor packaging, lost packages, etc. Madera will not issue any refunds or credit of any sort
You will be paid the value determined by Madera and will receive a follow up email within 12-48 business hours inquiring about your paypal email, venmo username, etc. If you give Madera an incorrect Venmo username or Paypal email address and money is sent to the incorrect person, you will not be able to receive a credit.
Refund of shipping
Refunds will be processed through Madera's online store and payment processor upon valuation and acceptance by you of the amount your hammock is valued at by our staff.
You are responsible for paying the initial shipping costs to get your non madera branded hammock to our warehouse. Refunds are only eligible for up to $6.95 to U.S. customers. Madera can only refund customers who purchased through the hammock buy back program link. You can ship it to us not through that link at your own expense however please note: you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance and we cannot refund any shipping service that does not go through our system. Our online buyback program acts as records and evidence that we agreed to receive your hammock, value it, and pay you and refund your shipping if you chose to do so. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue your credit via the stated platforms aforementioned. If your item is approved, then your refund will be processed. It can take 5-10 Business days to show on your statement. Your refund will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
If you used a discount code with your purchase you will will not be eligible for a refund if it makes your original purchase invalid with your discount.
