ARTICLE 2 - Your purpose as a Madera Brand Ambassador
SECTION 1- YOUR PURPOSE
Ambassadors are passionate customers who love the brand mission and want to help spread the word. Ambassadors receive special discounts on Madera products and receive affiliate links to share with friends, family and anyone in their online communities and earn commission when products are purchased from their affiliate link.
To help fulfill our prolific mission of planting two trees for every hammock purchased, when your link is used, trees are planted to help families in Africa to break the chain of poverty. You are a direct ambassador of spreading good. The gift of trees is the gift of economic equality and so vital in our mission of combating hunger, sickness, poverty, etc. That is neat and so are you for wanting to do this. SECTION 2 - Monetary Benefit
After filling out the affiliate activation form, an affiliate link will be automatically generated for you and every resulting sale from that link will make you money! This will be generated for you as soon as you register for an affiliate link by clicking here. You can distribute this however you please. Any discount code that Madera is promoting will make your friends more likely to buy something and put money in your pocket.
SECTION 3 - Offering Discounts and spreading the word.
3 ways to offer your friends discounts:
- Share your personalized 20% OFF discount code. (Click Here if you do not have a personalized discount code.)
- Give them this code* for 20% OFF "MADERA20"
- Encourage them to spin the wheel** to win either a free product or generous discount.

**The wheel creates incentive for them to purchase and helps you receive commission plus we will be emailing them and you get credit for any sales from that person up to 30 days after they click your link... this is why internet cookies are good.
You can spread with your link to friends/groups/clubs/family/strangers/anyone in traditional ways, posting on the interwebs, hand in hand with any promo code that we have active on the site, your own code, or the code listed above (MADERA20).
Ambassadors and/or Affiliates cannot run sponsored or paid ads on any platform in any context without authorization from Madera such as but not limited to: Google Ads, PPC, GDN, Facebook or Instagram Ads, Snapchat Ads, Reddit Ads, etc. Any attempt to do so will result in immediate termination of ambassador status, link/code commission, creation, etc. You will not be notified in the event that your link/code commission is terminated.

Pika - New Ambassadors
Ambassadors who have no purchases from their affiliate link
Pika Ambassadors will receive a 10% commission as soon as someone places an order using your affiliate link. The commission is as follows.

PIKA EARNINGS EXAMPLE: If your affiliate link is used 5 times for a hammock + straps at full price you will receive 10% of the sale value before tax and shipping. You will receive approx $34. If your affiliate link is used 5 times for a hammock + straps at 20% off you will receive 10% of the sale value before tax and shipping. You will receive approx $28. |
Mountain Goat - Elite Ambassadors
Ambassadors who have made 1 sale using their affiliate link
Mountain Goat Ambassadors will receive a 15% commission as soon as someone places an order using your affiliate link. The commission is as follows.

MOUNTAIN GOAT EARNINGS EXAMPLE: If your affiliate link is used 5 times for a hammock + straps at full price you will receive 15% of the sale value before tax and shipping. You will receive approx $52. If your affiliate link is used 5 times for a hammock + straps at 20% off you will receive 15% of the sale value before tax and shipping. You will receive approx $42. |
Eagle - Top Ambassador
Ambassadors who have made 5 or more sales using their affiliate link
You will receive a 20% commission as soon as someone places an order using your affiliate link. The commission is as follows.

EAGLE EARNINGS EXAMPLE: If your affiliate link is used 5 times for a hammock + straps at full price you will receive 20% of the sale value before tax and shipping. You will receive approx $70. If your affiliate link is used 5 times for a hammock + straps at 20% off you will receive 20% of the sale value before tax and shipping. You will receive approx $56 |
More tiers/levels will be created as the ambassador program progresses.
You will be notified of your rank advancement at the end of the month when Madera receives a list of all people who have generated sales from their affiliate links.
Purchasing from your own affiliate link will not generate commission for yourself! It will also not help in ambassador competitions If you are caught doing this ambassador privileges will be revoked.
SECTION 2 - EARN FREE GEAR
Point system - more coming about this! The Gist: We still need to create infrastructure, but verifiable actions you take will count as points to earn free gear. I.e. Posting 5 star reviews, sending madera pictures,
SECTION 3 - MAD DISCOUNTS
Upon reviewing your application, you have been selected to receive a 25% lifetime discount. That’s our way of saying we freaking love you. Now the responsibility... Please do not distribute this code to any non-ambassadors. Abusers of this code will absolutely lose Ambassador privileges. This code will be sent and/or emailed to you when you activate your ambassadorship. This code is not currently active for you, and CANNOT be shared with friends until you have activated your ambassadorship. See Article 4 on how to activate your ambassadorship.
SECTION 4 - Receiving commission for your used affiliate link.
Ambassadors must activate their affiliate links before earning commission. They can activate it by purchasing one of the offers below (and getting a free pillow and $50 coupon to Madera) or by spending $40 or more on any regular priced item. Ambassadors can still earn money if their link isn't active, but instead of being paid in cash, they will be paid in store credit via gift cards. Once the ambassador has completed one of the criteria mentioned above (purchase ambassador offers or spent $40) from Madera their link will be activated.
SECTION 5 - Ambassador Pay day
Ambassadors are paid within 5 business days of the 1st of every month for all transactions made from their link (register for a link below). We can send you money through Paypal only. After you register for an affiliate link by filling out the form below, you can input your paypal email into the dashboard under settings>Payment settings. Don't have PayPal account? Sign up here!
SECTION 6 - More Gifts! Photography Pays
When you take professional looking pics of Madera Products, you have a huge opportunity! You can submit your professional pics to us and we will feature your photos on some or all of our social media platforms! When Featured, we will credit the photo back to the social media Username you provided when you applied. Submit professional looking pics to photography@maderaoutdoor.com. As the owner of the photos, by emailing them to us you express consent for their use by Madera: commercial, social, or otherwise.

ARTICLE 4 - Activating Your Ambassadorship
SECTION 1 - HOW TO ACTIVATE
Activation put in simple terms is any purchase(s) that bring your lifetime amount spent to at least $40 (USD) on maderaoutdoor.com. Simpler terms... Spend 40 bucks at Madera. We have put offers below or will allow you to use any discount code available to you (minus codes meant only for active ambassadors aka codes or discounts ambassadors who have spent over $40 and received from madera designated for use by activated ambassadors). If your total goes below $40 spent on madera because of refunds your activated status of ambassadorship may be revoked along with its privileges.
SECTION 2 - COMMON METHODS OF ACTIVATION
You can activate your ambassadorship by:
- A) purchasing one of the Ambassador only offers at the bottom of this page (see ARTICLE 5, SECTION 2) Most common.
- B) spending $40 on maderaoutdoor.com (see ARTICLE 5, SECTION 3 for a 20% off discount).
We suggest option A because there are 8 different offers you can choose from if you already have one of the products plus we’ll send over $100 in free gear when you do.

When you click on one of the offers below you will receive a discount from our normal prices. We will include ONE PILLOW COMPLETELY FREE in the same package and give you 30% + off some of our best selling products. This following things change for you when you spend $40 at Madera.
- Affiliate link. Before your activation purchase any sales resulting from your affiliate link(excluding your own) generate in store credit for you in gift cards redeemable on the madera site. After your activation purchase any sales resulting from your affiliate link(excluding your own) generate commission sent to your paypal in the form of U.S. Dollars recognized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and exchangeable to the currency of the country you are located in.
- Lifetime discount code. You are able to use any discount code we give you or any promo code that you find on the site to go towards your initial activation purchase. Upon making that activation purchase you will receive an email with an active lifetime 25% off.
