Help Us Document Fraud and Restore the Integrity of Madera

Over the last few years, Madera’s name was misused by individuals and pop-up scammers—especially concentrated in the Wasatch Front.
During that time, many customers were charged but never received their hammocks or goods.

Madera is now back in the hands of the original founder, and we are gathering evidence to shut down ongoing fraud, support affected customers, and restore trust in the brand.

If you believe you were scammed, charged without receiving your product, or interacted with a suspicious website or seller using the Madera name, please send us your information.

WHAT TO SEND US

Email everything you have to:

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • Email used at checkout

  • Any order numbers / confirmation emails

  • Screenshots of charges (bank/PayPal/credit card — hide full card numbers)

  • Screenshots of conversations (DMs, texts, emails)

  • Links to scam websites, ads, or social profiles

  • Receipts, shipping notices, tracking numbers

  • Approximate dates of purchase

  • Where you were located when the scam occurred (especially helpful for mapping activity around the Wasatch area)

The more documentation you provide, the faster we can compile evidence and take coordinated legal action.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

  • Your report is reviewed directly by the revived Madera team.

  • We add validated cases to our fraud file.

  • Information is used to help shut down fake sellers and clean up search results, listings, and social pages impersonating us.

  • We’ll keep you updated as we rebuild and pursue any active or ongoing cases.
